What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a Services Sales Consultant to join our dynamic global Services Sales team, with a primary focus on the Americas Enterprise and Mid-Market divisions. The Services Sales Consultant is responsible for partnering with Account Executives to understand potential and existing customer business needs in order to create the best possible services solution. The Services Sales Consultant will own the ideation and scoping of services solutions through expertise in our Insights Services offering. This would include both custom and packaged solutions of news briefs and reporting, as well as engaging with Solutions Engineering on custom software builds. This role acts as a critical partner for Sales, with the mutual goal of facilitating increased ACV and pipeline growth, successful customer outcomes, and continuous improvement to internal processes and client deliverables.

What You'll Do
  • Work in as an specialist sales partner with account teams on our services solution architecture and value proposition throughout the sales cycle
  • Be the go-to insight services expert on client-facing calls and meetings
  • Build the Americas services pipeline and contribute to strategies for customer account growth
  • Align with sales and client success teams in account planning, POD meetings and QBRs
  • Enable Sales with processes, collateral, and resources needed to properly scope for professional services components within their solutions
  • Contribute to meeting preparation by gathering relevant samples, assisting on sales materials, and creating proposals / presentations on services solutions
  • Act as a project manager for services mocks and proof-of-concepts
  • Prioritize work and time based on opportunity size and level of qualification
  • Accurately scope custom deliverables, collaborate on quote requests via JIRA, and assist with scoping services for responses to RFP/RFQs
  • Utilize SPICED value selling framework to support deal quality and accurate forecasting
  • Provide continuity by transitioning solutions from pre-sales to implementation to ensure successful onboarding
  • Work on projects and initiatives as needed that contribute to team efficiency and process improvement
  • Accurately forecast services pipeline, and contribute to AEs forecast calls

What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of client-facing experience, ideally a minimum of 3 years in a quota-carrying role
  • Ability to establish credibility with internal and external audiences as a trusted advisor
  • Critical thinking with a curious mind and a passion for finding creative solutions to problems
  • Strong communication skills and ability to adapt based on audience
  • Excellent organizational skills including prioritization, scheduling, and time management
  • Team player mentality and experience working cross functionally with multiple teams and departments
  • Proactive mindset in identifying areas for improvement within existing processes
  • High level of business acumen that's necessary for executive-level discussions with customers around their goals, priorities, and challenges
  • Understanding of Meltwater's core software and use-cases
  • Ability to navigate internal knowledge base and toolset, as well as established relationships across multiple departments

  • Competitive compensation - Base Salary range for this position: $75,000 - $82,500 USD + quarterly commissions [subject to the terms of the applicable commission plan]. Total compensation for this position: $75,000 - $118,000 USD per year.
