SEWING MACHINE OPERATORS

OLSTEN STAFFING IS CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR SEWING MACHINE OPERATORS IN THE KINGSTREE, SC AREA. HOURS ARE 6AM - 4PM PAY RATE $10 - $12 AN HOUR.

The Sewing Machine Operator will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to assemble, repair, and modify textile products. The ideal candidate will have experience with various sewing techniques and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain industrial sewing machines, including single-needle, double-needle, and serger machines.
  
• Read and interpret technical specifications, patterns, and blueprints.
  
• Sew, hem, and assemble garments or other textile products according to established standards.
  
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on sewing machines.
  
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
  
• Work efficiently to meet production deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in sewing or textile technology is a plus.
  
• Proven experience as a Sewing Machine Operator or similar role.
  
• Proficiency in operating various types of industrial sewing machines.
  
• Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Pay Details: $10.00 to $12.00 per hour
