Looking for a helpful new team member with a clean driving record to be our delivery person. This person will also be in charge of assembling product like BBQs and patio furniture.

Customer Deliveries

Drive transfers between our 6 stores

Help customers and floor staff as needed

Help with store projects as needed
Requirements
•
Must be 18+ and have a valid CA driver's license and clean driving record within state of California
•
Must be able to operate and navigate a delivery van
•
Ability to safely load, unload and move products in an efficient manner and in the customer's best interest.
•
Communicates with customers via phone to schedule deliveries and delivers the merchandise with care.
•
Communicate with the store teams as needed and follow instructions as required including but not limited to: change in route, special requests and/or equipment problems.
•
Demonstrate excellent customer service to our customers, and co-workers.
•
Must be trustworthy and possess a high level of integrity
•
Ability to work additional or flexible hours including weekends.
•
Possess good time management and problem-solving skills.
•
Safely navigate driving conditions in adverse weather, and navigate the assigned driving area in an efficient manner for package delivery

Physical Requirement
•
Frequently lift heavy items up to 50 pounds and use the "team lift" technique or hand truck/cart for greater weights.
•
Sit for extended periods of time and to bend, twist, squat in order to climb in and out of truck.
•
Move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting

Wage and Benefits:
Compensation range is $20-$23 per hour based on experience. Great benefits for those with qualifying hours, including health, dental and vision insurance, vacation and sick pay, 401k, and employee discount.
