Our Food Service Packaging plant facility in Plymouth, IN is seeking Shipper/Checker/Loader $19.99/hr. on 1std shift 8:00am to 4:00pm responsible for the storage and shipment of all finished goods inventory and compliance with all safety, quality, quantity, and housekeeping standards. Also, responsible to coordinate and lead activities within the Warehouse and Shipping areas to maintain on time and complete deliveries to customers.

  • Handle all incoming and outgoing finished goods product and work within the Shipping and Receiving Team to accomplish all tasks.
  • Executes the daily shipping schedule to meet customer delivery requirements.
  • Load all LTL and TL shipments as required by shipment schedule.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of finished goods through utilization of computer inventory control system.
  • Unloads and inspects all incoming materials for condition and quantity per the receiving paperwork.
  • Locates all received materials in the warehouse properly and practices FIFO methods for all outgoing material.
  • Safely drive and maneuver forklift and roll clamp truck.
  • Ensure that all paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain housekeeping excellence in accordance with Golden Broom Program.
  • Executes daily receiving schedule by safely unloading, inspecting, and verifying all incoming product prior to storing in the facility.
  • Participate and ensure department is compliant with SQF/AIB audit regulations.
  • Report any logistics issues to the Shipping Supervisor to ensure items are resolved.


What you need to succeed:
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written instructions. Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of management.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Must be flexible on shift. (8-hours, 10-hours, M-F) on call, overtime, weekend availability
  • Prior experience in shipping/receiving or related warehousing and distribution required.
  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent required.
  • Warehouse Experience:1 year (preferred)
  • Shipping & Receiving: 1 year (preferred)
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment screenings, drug test, and criminal background check.
