SHIPPING SUPERINTENDENT

Operations Management, Souderton, Pennsylvania .

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate within USDA/HACCP guidelines.
• Promote a safe environment following state, federal , and company safety standards.
• Produce products that meet or exceed the customers' (internal and external) requirements and provide excellent customer service.
• Provide a positive people-oriented work environment, designed to build morale.
• Complete all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
• Managing all aspects of operations to ensure a safe working environment. Taking immediate action to eliminate improper practices or hazardous conditions.

Required skills:

• Team-oriented , Communication skills & People skills
• Bilingual is important, but not mandatory.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English

• Must have supervision experience in shipping and inventory control.
• Good interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer skills are necessary with experience with Microsoft Office Suite Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• SAP experience a plus.
• Must have 2-3 years of packinghouse experience

Working Conditions:

• Working in cold temperature
• Physical demands of this position may include a great deal of walking and stair climbing.
• Environment consists of slick floors and loud noise.
• Employee will typically work 50-55 hours per week M-F with some Saturday work if necessary.

• Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

• This position is eligible to participate in the Company's annual bonus plan; the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

• High School Diploma/GED;
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
