Tasks
As the Shop Manager, you will perform the following duties:

  • Assisting, supervising, and directing LTPR workshop personnel in the performance of their duties so that work is accomplished on schedule and in accordance with applicable 14 CFR requirements and Repair Station Procedures
  • Train, assist, and supervise workshop personnel in proper work procedures and practices
  • Ensure that proper entries are made into maintenance logs and work orders IAW 14 CFR part 43 and Operator/Air Carrier manuals
  • Establishing standards to assure that adequate safety precautions are observed
  • Thoroughly familiar with the methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools used to perform the assigned maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alteration tasks (See, 14 CFR §§ 145.153(a), (b))

Requirements
You must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Technical university degree or relevant job experience or B1 or B2 license or equivalent
  • CAT C license for relevant aircraft type desirable
  • Experience in a supervising role for 5 years is desirable
  • MRO experience of 8 years (heavy maintenance) is also desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully managing aircraft projects
  • Ability to communicate with intercultural customers effectively and clearly
  • Ability to lead, coach, motivate teams and individuals
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet demanding deadlines
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • Valid driving license (B cat)
  • Ability to generate new ideas and identify potential for improvement within his working area
  • Must possess a legal work permit in country of employment
