The Standardized/Simulated Patient (SP) Program, coordinated through the Office of Medical Education (OMED), is dedicated to providing medical students with the opportunity to become more compassionate communicators and influential members of the medical community. The program is integral to the medical school curriculum, ensuring the opportunity in each curricular year for experiential, hands-on learning to enrich the
student's educational experience in clinical and interpersonal skills.

A minimum of two years of experience in the role of a Standardized Patient, or experience working in simulation implementation is preferred.

Must have knowledge, experience, and skills in simulation methodology and demonstrable strong writing, research, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to adhere to strict timelines and comply with identified standards is required. Must also possess excellent interpersonal, computer, customer service, problem analyzing, and problem-solving skills. The ability to collaborate and cooperate with diverse individuals, agencies, and organizations is also required
