Single Use Technical Applications Specialist

The Single-Use Technical Applications Specialist utilizes their technical expertise within biopharma processing and interpersonal skills to generate sales of Single Use Technologies with the MilliporeSigma portfolio. Expectations include support the sales force with tactical/strategic insights, product and process technical information and project support to obtain additional sales and identify new opportunities. This role also collaborates closely with the wider Single-Use business within MilliporeSigma. Travel expectations are 30-50%, primarily US travel, but some international travel for internal meetings. This a remote position and will be supporting our business in Puerto Rico, Florida and Georgia. Candidates in/near those locations are encouraged to apply. Who You Are:Minimum Qualifications:BS in chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, life sciences, chemistry, biochemistry or equivalent.5+ years in or servicing the Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical Industry with knowledge of sterile filtration and Single Use Technology.Previous customer facing and/or sales experience. Preferred Qualifications:Masters degree in a Life Science, Engineering or Business.Highly motivated, adaptable, and self-directedStrong communication (verbal/written), interpersonal, prioritization, and organization skills.Experience working in a global matrix organization.
