Job Description:

This position will be responsible for all facilities, EHS, and security needs at the site. The site is primarily composed of office space with an Engineering Laboratory and small machine shop.

Essential Functions:
  • Obtaining quotes and managing contractors for small Facilities/EHS related projects.
  • Owner of the preventative maintenance system i.e. HVAC, Fire Protection etc.
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations i.e. OSHA, EPA, Life SafetyNet.
  • Conducting training with small groups of employees i.e. new employee orientation, annual safety training etc.
  • Ordering misc. supplies for the site including coffee supplies, office supplies, janitorial supplies, and misc. facilities replacement parts i.e. filters, belts etc.
  • Routine site inspections to identify concerns and to own corrective actions.
  • Owner of the access badge and camera system. Creating new employee badges, retrieve camera data when requested, assigning access levels etc.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Experience managing facilities, EHS, and/or security.


Preferred Additional Skills:
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Previous Project management experience (small scale).
