Skillbridge Penetration Testing Fellowship for Service Members

As part of our Skillbridge Fellowship, you will prove your aptitude at learning and mastering penetration testing fundamentals including web application testing, network testing, and general exploitation. Succsessful candidates will be prepared and certified to assist with FedRAMP penetration testing after 90 days of intensive study. This will require teamwork, diligent study & application, and excellent communication on the part of the Skillbridge candidate.

• Promote an inclusive, trusting team environment for you and your fellow Skillbridge associates by balancing tasks assigned with independent research, asking good questions, and sharing recently acquired knowledge with your peers.
• Achieve R311 certification with in the allotted timeframe by taking and passing the CompTIA PenTest+ certification as part of our training program.
• Prepare, certify, and participate in live customer projects by the end of the program.
• Adhere to projects/tasks, scheduling, and scope under the direction of an experienced lead penetration tester for these projects.
• Actively communicate with peers and mentors. Be proactive in asking for and offering help.

• Competent knowledge of general networking concepts, web applications, vulnerability management, and operating system skills including windows and/or Linux.
• Desire to aggressively acquire the skills, knowledge, and experience to become a competent penetration tester.
• Ability to write technical reports that thoroughly breaks down and explains weaknesses and vulnerabilities, their attack vectors and remediation steps in a clear, concise, and timely manner.
• Previous experience with one or more of the following: network engineering, network security, vulnerability management, patch management, IT Operations, Security Operations, systems administration, or other IT security experience.
• A candidate with any direct penetration testing experience will be prioritized.
