Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Snowflake Administrator to join an exciting Transportation Technology Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the Snowflake data warehouse environment. This role requires a deep understanding of Snowflakes features and best practices, as well as strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. This position is Hybrid, with 1 day a week onsite in Downtown Boston. The compensation Range is anywhere from $85-$92/hr.

Required Skills & Experience

o 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Snowflake Administrator with a strong proficiency in Snowflake architecture, features, and capabilities.
o Experience with ETL tools and data integration processes.
o Strong SQL skills
o Knowledge of Snowflake security features including access control, authentication, authorization, encryption, masking, secure view, etc.
o Experience in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python
o Experience working in AWS cloud environments
o Experience working with Power BI and other BI, data visualization, and reporting tools
o Strong Database design and data modelling experience
o Experience with data integration solutions and tools, data pipelines, and modern ways of automating data using cloud based and on-premises technologies

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience integrating Snowflake with an identity and access management programs
Experience with other relational database management systems, cloud data warehouses and big data platforms
Snowflake certification (e.g., SnowPro Core or Advanced Certification).
