SOC Analyst (Tier 2) - Active Secret Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a qualified Tier II SOC Analyst to join a federal program based out of Leesburg, VA, on a full-time basis (Shift: 7 a.m.-7 p.m., 12 hr shifts, Sun-Wed (4 days on, 3 days off), alternating weeks Sunday-Tues (3 days on, 4 days off). This position requires an ACTIVE SECRET clearance .

Responsibilities of the Tier II SOC Analyst:
• Initial assessment of the scope of the attack and affected systems
• Data collection for further analysis
• Initial response when a cyber incident is identified
• Dedicated monitoring and analysis of cyber security events by use of SOC tools

Qualifications of the Tier II SOC Analyst:
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity SOC related roles (hands on)
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
• Experience with Splunk, Jira, and Service Now
• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Must have ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE

Compensation for the Tier II SOC Analyst:
• Salary: $105,000-125,000/year flexible based on experience
