The role

The Social Media, Content Specialist will be responsible for assisting with the content ideation and creation of earned and paid media platforms. The primary objective of this role is to support content creation for the brand and talent accounts as well as assisting with the moderation of those channels.

The Social Media group is a team of creatives responsible for managing HGV’s brand and online presence across various social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining editorial calendar.
  • Content ideation and creation.
  • Managing third party vendors with content outsourcing.
  • Responding to questions and engaging with guests on behalf of the brand in real time.
  • Route issues to appropriate business group for assistance with moderation resolutions owning end-to-end case resolution, including recommendations on steps needed to achieve resolution.
  • Ideate and recommend content for the brand based on company-wide strategic priorities.
  • Support workflows to route social media content to appropriate departments (ex. Legal) for approval.
  • Partner with internal and external partners to help bring campaign visions to life across our various social media networks, both organic and paid.
  • Make strategic recommendations for social media campaign execution.

Experience required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of 2-3 years social media experience
  • Strong oral communication skills and an understanding of what should be communicated to different audiences
  • Ability to work in a team and assist in the execution of social media requests within an expedited timeframe
  • Excellent problem solver
  • Comfortable handling sensitive guest concerns
  • Have a solid understanding of Sprinklr
  • Skilled using MS Office applications
