Coordinates and supervises the social work services provided by assigned social workers. Provide leadership for team development, additional benefits, services and products for targeted groups.Represents the Grady Health System by attending meetings with community organizations and Grady staff. Provides social work coverage as needed.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Prepares monthly reports and other information as requested. Provides social work services to patients / families for assigned areas.
Assist in developing, planning and administering certain aspects of targeted programs. Monitors the qualilty and timeliness of social work documentation.
Develops and updates departmental policies. Responsible for training and orientation of new staff.
Assigns, supervises and evaluates personnel in assigned area.

QUALIFICATIONS
- MSW from accedited school of Social Work
- Three (3) years of hospital experience including one (1) year supervisory. (preferred)
- Licensed Medical Social Worker obtained within one (1) year of employment. (preferred)
