SUMMARY

Functions as an independent behavioral health clinician and provides diagnostic evaluation of patients; provides crisis intervention, individual, group or family psychotherapy appropriate to the patient's problem. Coordinates care with and provides consultation to other behavioral health, medical and community providers. Participates in multidisciplinary treatment teams, develops treatment plans, and reviews treatment plans regularly.

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

Master's degree in social work. Current LICSW. American Heart Association Basic Life

Support (BLS) required.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty.

EXPERIENCE

Three years progressively autonomous experience with group, individual and family therapy required.

SKILLS

Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs, develop and implement a plan of care. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to show high level of sensitivity to patient needs and concerns. Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.
