Software Application Security Tester Job in Charlotte, NC:

The Software Application Security Tester will specialize in working with development teams to identify and remediate software vulnerabilities and bugs. The Software Application Security Tester will also consult with Security Engineers to scope and manage external application security testing to ensure that all applications are efficiently and effectively tested.

Responsibilities of the Software Application Security Tester Job in Charlotte, NC:

• Participate in Code and software architecture reviews

• Advise vendors and Developers on vulnerability, validation and remediation guidance

• Perform external security testing scoping and management

• Participate in internal application security testing

Qualifications of the Software Application Security Tester Job in Charlotte, NC:

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline such as Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Science or Engineering preferred but not required.

• Experience Testing native and 3rd party software application from a security standpoint

• Familiarity with Test documentation tool like Quality Scenter, Jira ect.

• Experience working with integrated teams of Software Developers and QA Engineers
