As a Software Developer, you will design and develop products that help content created to create materials, create interactive and engaging content. You will be helping Pearson with their technical skills in product engineering and AI. This will be an opportunity to work with several team members who have expertise in core programming and cloud computing skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable and reliable cloud-based solutions using AWS services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and architect solutions that meet business needs.
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs using Python, Java, or .NET.
• Develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions.
• The candidate should be a 'people person', well-rounded and happy to take on new challenges. Flexibility is important, as you will be joining a versatile and agile content creation team.
• Ability to work with a distributed team, following Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Minimum Requirements

• We are looking for candidates who have a STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering) with information security subjects or 2 relevant years' work experience.
• Candidate with experience in ReactJS, java script frameworks are preferred.
• Strong experience in Python, Java, or .NET programming languages.
