Our Amazon Dedicated Cloud team develops and deploys tools on air-gapped networks that enable a secure, full-cloud environment at multiple classification levels for the US intelligence community. There are many layers of digital security, and at AWS, we partner with customers at the highest levels.

Key job responsibilities
• \tCollaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.
• \tDesign and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
• \tCreate solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
• \tBuild distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use.
• \tDesign and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
• \tWork in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• \tBachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields with a graduation date of Jan 2023 - Aug 2024
• \tProgramming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• \tStrong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
• \tKnowledge of, at least, one modern programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Perl
• \tExperience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
• \tKnowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• \tAbility to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project
• \tExperience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $99,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $200,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
