LaSalle Network has partnered with an innovative, leading client to hire a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET). This position will be responsible for software testing and quality assurance.

This is a contract opportunity.

SDET Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and update a scalable automated testing framework for functional, performance and regression testing
• Collaborate with software developers to create test cases and ensure test coverage
• Design and implement test plans, test cases and test strategies
• Work closely with the development team to identify and resolve software defects
• Report defects and track issues to resolution
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability, maintainability, and performance
• Stay up to date with industry best practices for software testing and automation
• Communicate testing progress and results to stakeholders

SDET Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in SDET or a related role
• Experience leading the development of scalable automated testing frameworks
• Strong experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python or C#
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
