Title: Software Development Engineer
Location: Alpharetta, GA on site daily. Candidates must be local to be considered.
Duration: 5+ months
Compensation: $80 per hour W2.
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US

Job Description: A Software Development Engineer designs, develops, tests, installs, and maintains systems, applications, networks, and/or telecom and related processes to meet the functional objectives of the business. Assesses system, application, network, and/or telecom needs, provides modeling and simulation consulting to clarify client technology functionality, and evaluates and implement new advanced technologies. Ensures adherence to established technology standards and consults with senior leadership on technology solutions. Supports existing systems and is responsible for leading technical aspects of a project. Responsible for assigning resources and delegating tasks to meet project deliverables.

Skillset / Experience:
Must Have Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer, Information Technology, or related field
• End to End Delivery (requirements through deployment) experience of large and /medium scale applications development for 10+ years
• 5+ Years of development experience with an object oriented programming language like Java or .NET
• 2+ Years of development experience with Appian
• Appian Senior Developer (Level 2) certification or higher
• Knowledge of Appian application performance and optimization
• Technical knowledge of Appian security controls
• Experience of Agile delivery methodology and working knowledge of Jira/ Azure Devops or any other agile tool kits

Preferred Qualifications

• Lead Developer (Level 3) certification (or commensurate level of Appian experience)
• Experience of business process and data modeling using mainstream tools (Visio, Aris, etc.)
• Knowledge of application design patterns
