Software Development Engineer, Prime Video - Global Customer Enagagement
Seattle, Washington
Seeking SDEs with passion to build scalable backend services that use Computer Vision and Machine Learning models to enhance content discovery on Prime Video.
Prime Video is Amazon's online video entertainment destination, and our mission is to entertain and delight our customers in over 200 countries with an infinite selection of movies, shows and sports on their TV, mobile devices, and desktop. We always start with our customer experience in mind and work backwards to find the right solution. Amazon continues to expand our portfolio, from award winning Originals to a wide selection of channels like HBO.
The Global Consumer Engagement team within Amazon Prime Video builds product and technology solutions that drive customer activation and engagement across all our supported devices and global footprint. We obsess over finding effective, programmatic and scalable ways to reach customers via a broad portfolio of both in-app and out-of-app experiences. We are continuously expanding the Prime Video content library but are not keeping up with making it easier for customers to discover and make faster/more confident streaming decisions.
Ever wondered how we can make discovering video to watch intuitive? How do we solve the content discovery problem for users while the selection of titles in catalog keep expanding?
If these problems excite you and you are willing to help us achieve our goals at scale by understanding videos deeply using Computer Vision, Audio Processing, NLP and similar machine learning techniques then this is the team where you can make it all happen. There are plenty of opportunities for bottom up proposals and innovation and no limit to what you can enable for our customers and achieve for yourself.
Come be a part of this exciting journey to make Prime Video the first choice for viewers across the globe.
