Software Engineer, Frontend, Inside Tesla

On the Inside Tesla team, you will be responsible for building & supporting our home grown Tesla HR systems. This team is focused on delivering a highly scalable application for managing, maintaining and growing the Tesla workforce across the global regions. The goal is to create a seamless user experience and one stop shop for our employee base.


Responsibilities

• Design and develop high quality, scalable and stable web applications using Angular and react JS
• Develop client-side applications that connect with web services
• Ensure highest standards met for security- best practices in all development using principles of Software design, algorithm development, data structures, code modularity and maintainability
• Perform unit testing; process bug reports and release fixes; and participate in code reviews and Agile processes

Requirements

• Degreee or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability
• Experience in Angular and React JS
• Expert in SQL Queries and some experience in building REST API's
• Fluent in software fundamentals including software design, algorithm development, data structures, code modularity and maintainability
• Exposure to Open-Source Tools and Technologies
• Fluent in GIT source code control
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes integrations of CI/CD
• Possess strong communication skills and a preference for delivering as part of a team
• Working Knowledge of continuous deployment, feature toggles, logging, metrics, monitoring, and alerting

Expected Compensation

$104,000 - $348,000/annual salary, depending on level + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
