About the Role

As a software engineer for the team , you'll be a member of a cross functional team developing and supporting the client applications. Y ou will work with cross-business and cross-functional teams to apply your skills and experience to our critical missions. You will learn and apply new advanced tools and engage in the development and support of advanced team software and hardware mission capabilities.

About You
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering , or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field
  • 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience
  • Agile experience preferred
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required at time of hire
  • Advanced computing software, hardware
  • Embedded or systems development and fielding; sustainment and lifecycle support
  • Strong and diverse working knowledge of software languages, hardware and industry best practices
  • Advanced mathematics / physics; a track record of excellent team dynamics, development, and relevant technical contributions
  • Technical and problem-solving skills in advanced computing systems, hardware, software, mathematics, physics, or end-mission applications and support, with an understanding of how those capabilities fit into the bigger product / service offering.
  • Expertise in applying technology and technical skills to solve challenges in creative ways.
  • Experience digging into hardware specifications and leveraging hardware interfaces in the composition of low-level software solutions.
  • Energized by the diverse software and computer engineering problem sets of HPC.
  • A willing and effective collaborator, with team members, customers and general technical counterparts.
  • Knowledge of general programming principles and optimization strategies, with previous experience in Assembly, C/C++, Python, Rust, Embedded Linux or others.
  • Development and testing skills in High Performance Computing applications or advanced computing / embedded systems.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others.
