This is a chance to work on one of New Relic's critical engineering teams! Each of the following teams has one (1) available position:

The Developer Platform team owns and maintains business critical tooling that enables developer operations and engineering efficiency.

The Capacity Engineering team builds automation and analytics for proactive monitoring utilization via predictive forecasts.


What you'll do

  • Actively participate in an impactful project through pair programming, coding and understanding the full development cycle
  • Create and maintain technical documentation of processes
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal or external customers
  • Gain experience in the world of observability


This role requires

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program majoring in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with an expected graduation date between May-June 2025
  • Experience programming in Go, Python, Java, or equivalent programming languages
  • Familiarity with cloud databases and developer tools, such as Postgres, MySQL, Jenkins, etc.


Bonus points if you have

  • Participation in university clubs (i.e. SWE, WiCS, SHPE, NSBE, Hacker teams, and any others focusing on the professional development of your computer science skills)
  • Passion and interest in SaaS and observability platforms
