Summary
Platform Core Services is hiring a software engineer to help create the future of mobile and personal computing. Our team develops services critical to the Apple platforms experience, spanning iOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS and visionOS. We are responsible for app installation, app and app extension discovery and launch, Universal Links, Handoff, and the icon compositing pipeline for apps and documents!

Key Qualifications
Minimum 3 years related software development experience
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Excellent analytical, programming and debugging skills
Familiarity with iOS or macOS software technologies and tools
Detailed knowledge of and experience with Objective-C, Swift, or C/C++

Description
In this role you will be part of an engineering team delivering components for all Apple operating systems. We develop a variety of frameworks and services for user-facing platform features, as well as APIs for external developers. Some of the technologies you will develop include installed app management, app extensions runtime, and ensuring the security and privacy of third party software. Your role will require collaborating with teams across Apple to design and deliver new features and user experiences - including brainstorming, architecting, prototyping, and implementing. You will also improve existing features based on customer feedback.

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent
