Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience developing Linux/Android system services or device drivers, or similar system programming.
• Experience with multithreaded programming environments.
• Experience with C/C .

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 1 year of experience supporting standard compute APIs, such as OpenCL and Vulkan.
• 1 year of experience with ML frameworks, such as TFlite, or applications.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $136,000-$200,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve the software stack for the Edge Tensor Processing Unit (TPU) on a series of mobile SoCs.
• Improve Edge TPU utilization with both internal and external customers and continuously reduce latency and power consumption, while maintaining existing software stack and deliver new Pixel releases.
• Explore new software architectures to fit ever-evolving TPU architectures and Machine Learning (ML) frameworks.
• Work with kernel driver and firmware teams in exploration for future products with evolving TPU architectures.
• Work with public Application programming interface (API) and ML framework teams to make sure together we enable more Edge TPU applications without friction.
