The Central QA team is seeking a Software QA Engineer who can work on a fast paced team, and has strong experience with leading multi-functional testing efforts, developing tests, and technical acuity. In this role you will work with software development & quality engineers, on and outside the team, to test and deliver complex features in various projects.

Key Qualifications
2+ years of proven Software QA experience crafting, maintaining and carrying out test plans.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and testing tools
Experience in developing test plan, assessing risk, filing appropriate defects
Experience crafting test reporting dashboards and reports, enabling seamless status reporting to multi-functional partners
Experience identifying automation requirements and crafting solutions to address test execution challenges
Experience diagnosing and debugging complex systems
A great teammate with the ability to act as a mentor and peer leader.
Proficient at balancing multiple efforts simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
Easily adaptable in a dynamic, constantly evolving, and demanding environment.

Description
As a Software QA Engineer on the Central Quality team, you will be driving user-focused testing for new features. You will be responsible for planning, crafting, maintaining and driving test cases. You will work with cross-functional teams to identify, reproduce and isolate bugs found through concise bug reporting. Excellent communication skills are a requirement due to the high level of interaction with engineering teams, management, other organizations within Apple, as well as the larger developer community. You will be highly technical, organized, creative, motivated, and passionate about achieving results.

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
