As a Software QA Engineer, you will contribute directly to the goals of our product teams and help innovate and evolve our processes and product portfolio to meet our customers ever-changing needs. About the role:

You will,

• Work with developers to analyze defects, understand root cause, reproduce, and verify code fix
• Develop test documents, run tests and monitor results using tools in application life cycle
• Automate manual test cases and execute automation suite on periodic basis
• Work collaboratively with other QA team members and also members of the geographically dispersed team to ensure the appropriate implementation of functional requirements
• Help in deploying and troubleshooting complex test environment.
• Setup/Configure/Maintain automated testing environments in a continuous integration setting
• Continuously improve upon the productivity and efficiency of our automated testing efforts using innovative tools and techniques
• Adapt and learn new technologies, processes as required for the success of the team
• Troubleshoot and analyze application/environment issues to root cause

Qualifications
About you,

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years of experience as a Software or Quality Engineer with coding skills in Java or other modern programming language (OOP) and/or scripting language
• Understanding of test automation, automation framework (REST API, SoapUI, POSTMAN)
• Experience in test management and source control tools like ALM, JIRA, GIT, Bitbucket
• Ability to write basic to intermediate SQL queries
• Knowledge of full software development life cycle, QA methodology, tools, and software quality best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Right Scale, Splunk or any related Production Monitoring tools
• Experience working in Cloud based application and Public Clouds
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
