POSITION SUMMARY:

The Nitro Quality Assurance Manager works alongside the Director of Nitro Support Services to grow and develop the Quality Assurance team. They will manage a group of quality analysts to ensure that projects are tested efficiently, delivered on time and to required quality and security standards. They will assist in the further development of testing standards and metrics and explore areas for experimentation with automated testing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Mentor and guide members of the Quality team, providing them with constructive feedback, facilitating professional growth, and conducting regular performance reviews and one-on-one meetings.
  • Establish and uphold testing and security standards to maintain consistency in quality assurance across all projects.
  • Develop and maintain QA metrics to assess team performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive efficiency.
  • Explore opportunities for automation to streamline testing processes and reduce manual effort, improving overall efficiency.
  • Utilize Agile and Scrum methodologies to foster continuous improvement, drive efficient project delivery, and adapt to evolving requirements.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new staff members to build a highly skilled and motivated Quality Assurance team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in quality assurance to ensure our processes remain cutting-edge.
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned by BT Leadership.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
