Job Description:

The Software QA Engineer performs advanced and/or supervisory computer systems analysis and team lead work, administering the daily operations and activities of testing teams within the Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) section of IT (Information Technology). Work involves planning, budgeting, and analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to do performance testing or to automate processing or to improve existing systems.

The PAF Rewrite project will provide a new application to create, track and store Personnel Action Form (PAF) activities in a modern, flexible, supportable technology solution. This position will work with the Personal Action Form (PAF) Rewrite IVV team to provide the following Software Testing Services:

1) Analyze user requirements, design documents and other documentation to develop detailed test plan and test cases
2) Create and execute manual and/or automated functional and regression test cases, report and document all issues, test cases executed, test results, and testing summaries in detail
4) Perform manual and automation testing and data validation
5) Create and perform Performance testing, Load testing and Accessibility testing
6) Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data
7) Work with development team and customers to clearly understand the functionality under test to define and implement test case automation and clearly communicate to the team

Required Skills:

• 7 years of experience in testing complex Web Applications

• 7 years of experience in testing all phases of Software Development Life Cycle
• 5 years of experience in performance testing
• 5 years of experience in automation testing
• 3 years of experience in Database / SQL testing

Preferred Skills:

• 3 years of experience in Automation using Selenium Web Driver / Java or similar technology
• 3 years of experience in Performance testing using WAPT Pro / JUnit or similar tool
• 3 years of experience in .Net / Microsoft Power Apps or similar programming language
