Job Summary

RDSI is looking for Software Test Engineers to join our current team working full time on new and existing cutting-edge U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) software projects and game-based training systems.

Responsibilities

• Use advanced problem-solving skills to test applications, within a defined test strategy, to identify defects and work with the software development team to identify solutions.
• Participate in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design and potential problems.
• Review software requirements and preparing test scenarios.
• Research, develop, and document technical design specifications and test scripts.
• Prepare reports on all aspects related to the software testing, reporting, and tracking defects to closure.
• Analyze test results on impacts, errors or bugs and usability.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for a U.S. DoD Security Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical or engineering field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good organizational skills with critical thinking skills and detail-oriented mindset
• Knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

• Preferred candidates will have an active SECRET U.S. DoD security clearance.

• We are looking for Software Test Engineers primarily in the Southeastern CT area however, we will entertain qualified applicants from locations outside CT.
