We have an excellent opportunity for a Solderer to join our team in Fremont CA. Our ideal candidate will have experience performing solder operations for standard and custom backplanes. This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Reads and follows documentation and assembly drawings and performs operations as described
• Performs quality self-inspection of all completed work
• Performs connector and hardware repair on backplanes that require rework and/or modification
• Other duties as assigned

Qualities:

• Familiarity with use of soldering hand tools and soldering re-work equipment
• Ability to follow instructions and assemble backplanes per ELMA Bustronic documentation
• Ability to recognize documentation and manufacturing discrepancies
• Knowledge of standard soldering practices and procedures
• Knowledge of standard hardware (i.e. screws, nuts, washers)
• Ability to communicate well with managers and co-workers
• Ability to read and/or work from mechanical drawings with detailed instructions

Minimum Experience:

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent experience, required
• Minimum 2-3 years of solder experience preferably in an electronic manufacturing environment, required
• General knowledge of ELMA Bustronic products, preferred

Target Compensation: $24.00-$28.00 an hour, dependent upon experience
