Job Description:

Solution Application Engineer needs 5-10 years of experience

Solution Application Engineer requires:

• Advance experience in SQL and knowledge of data transformation/ management languages (PowerQuery / Powershell / Python)
• Experience with API Integration, Experience with Integration/Middleware frameworks using Spring Batch, Boomi, etc.,
• Experience in Service Oriented Architecture and Web Services
• Experience in agile software development, TDD, and continuous improvement concepts.
• Comfort providing analysis to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of and experience with cloud-delivered software and best practices
• Understanding of file transfer processes and integration designs and able to work with Integration SMEs to create designs for solutions between 2 products
• Create detailed technical specifications, test plans, deployment instructions and other technical documentation as needed
• Experience with security & compliance practices is a plus.

  • Understand the file transfer process (required)
  • Top skills: SQL, file transfer, experience working with cloud software
  • Familiar with working with 3rd party vendors
  • Familiar with SAS products
  • Java is a plus
  • Waterfall is a plus
  • Understanding cloud delivered software and best practices (Azure, AWS) is a plus
  • Retail experience is a plus

Solution Application Engineer duties:

• Assist with the defect triage and resolution during QA, UAT and performance testing, partnering with infrastructure teams such as network engineer, server and database administrators, etc
• Ensure compliance with all development standards, including source control management and security coding standards.
• Participates in sizing/estimates of development and testing work
• Work with one of the scrum teams and another solution engineer
• Work within loss prevention; loss prevention experience is a plu
• Work with Investigation products
• Create designs based on lower level work and create technical documentation
