The Solutions Architect plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technological solutions, optimizing our clients' investments in Supply Chain Operations and Logistics systems. This individual collaborates closely with business and IT leaders to align technology initiatives with strategic business goals. Responsibilities include influencing changes in business models and processes through insightful technology perspectives and analytical approaches to decision-making.
Defining, designing, and delivering applications to or clients cloud infrastructure using a service orientated and micro-frontend architecture
Leading execution teams who are responsible for implementing their designs using the latest development patterns and technologies for creating java based services and Ux using modern JavaScript frameworks React
Decomposing application functionality into independent components and APIs
Defining Azure cloud based application architectures that enable business capabilities
Working with functional teams to ensure that the overall composition of the application landscape meets the goals of its business sponsors
Mentoring/coaching development teams on modern web application implementation techniques

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors Degree in computer science or related field
Experience working as in IT architecture and solution development, particularly in environments having complex Distribution and Transportation business models and supporting systems.
Experience with top tier WMS platforms Manhattan, Blue Yonder, Highjump and SAP EWM.
Experience with major TMS platforms like Manhattan, Blue Yonder, MercuryGate, SAP, Oracle and/or Descartes.
Experience integrating and optimizing key Physical Automation platforms (WEC/WCS, Conveyor Systems, Print-and-Apply, G2P/robotics, AGV/LGV, etc.) from providers like Intelligrated, Swisslog, Tompkins and/or Trew.
Experience integrating with major ERP and SCM/SCP platforms from SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, o9, Manhattan and/or Blue Yonder.
Experience mentoring/coaching development teams on standards, guidelines, and best practices
