Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare policy briefings, talking points, presentations and proposals for internal and external meetings.
  • Schedule, prepare materials and notes, and ensure follow-up for various leadership and staff meetings.
  • Support the President & CEO in advancing government relations, facilitating interactions with city officials, and driving advocacy and partnership initiatives.
  • Work with the Executive Assistant to the President and CEO to ensure the President & CEO is prepared for meetings and events.
  • Support the President & CEOs management of leadership team meetings and management of those members.
  • Draft and edit various documents including internal/external correspondence and legislative testimony.
  • Research and prepare briefing materials for key materials and presentations.
  • Participate in meetings, taskforces and workgroups both internally externally.
  • Manages the Administrative Assistant and the staff assigned to the Agency's Front Desk.
  • Other responsibilities, as required.


Qualifications:
  • BA/BS Degree required
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent research, analytical, planning and organizational skill
  • Ability to work independently, exercise professional judgment, and have discretion
  • Team-oriented and flexible
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
