Certified Moderate or Severe Needs Special Education Teacher for students at Greenfield High School. The teacher is responsible for providing individualized and specialized instruction, curriculum, accommodations, adaptations and modifications; implementation of behavioral and academic supports; as well as collaborating with transition coordinator to meet student transition plans. QUALIFICATIONS: •Current DESE License as Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities or Severe Disabilities •SEI endorsement •Experience in behavior management and de-escalation techniques •Assistance with activities of daily living and activities (hygiene, employment, public transportation, etc), and development of individual and group level instructional plans. •3 years of experience working in a public or private school system (preferred) •Training and experience in working with transition planning for students in Life Skills, and/or students with specific learning disabilities (preferred)
