ANTICIPATED SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER- MIDDLE SCHOOL

START DATE: November 21 , 2024 (tentative date)

LOCATION: Amherst Middle School

SALARY: $41,676. - $53,264.

Our district is seeking a special education teacher skilled in supporting the needs of students with disabilities in a 6th Grade classroom in a Middle School setting.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must have a NYS Special Education/Students with Disabilities certificate (Birth-2 and Grades 1-6)
  • Prior experience in an elementary school setting preferred
  • Prior experience in a self-contained setting, working with developmentally disabled students preferred
  • Must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education
