Job Description:

Experienced professional with proficient knowledge of Contract Management. Works under general supervision to manage proposals, negotiation and post-award management of contracts. Communicates with contacts within and outside of own department and may occasionally have responsibility for communicating with parties external to the organization. Makes significant improvements in processes, systems, or products. Provides input into new products/processes and implements operational plans that have measurable impact on business and/or functional results.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for RFP review and risk assessment, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities for assigned contracts/programs
• Serves as the primary contractual communication conduit between L3Harris and the respective customers
• Provides a proactive voice in the business process
• Provides proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications
• Analyzes material estimates, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Prepares bids and proposals under general supervision
• Prepares and conducts negotiations under general supervision
• Processes specifications, progress report, and other reports
• Ability to think critically, problem solve and work independently
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work in a team environment
• Ability to multi-task and determine priorities while working on multiple assignments
• Dedication to meet customer deadlines
• Ability to negotiate contract terms and conditions with commercial and US Government customers
• Conducts change management process with internal team and communicate equitable adjustment rights to customers
• Utilizes contract sales order system to record contract awards and modifications
• Advises management of contractual rights and obligations
• Compiles and analyzes data as required Maintains historical information for assigned contracts
• Ability to clearly present information to broad audience, inclusive of management

• Serves as delegate for Sr. Manager, as needed

Qualifications:

• Active Secret security clearance; ability to obtain Top Secret clearance

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
• Experience with FAR, DFAR, ITAR, EAR, CAS
• Experience with using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)

Preferred Additional Skills and Qualifications:

• Negotiation experience
• Active Top Secret security clearance is a strong plus
• Demonstrated business acumen/finance experience
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must
• NCMA professional certifications (CPCM, CFCM, etc) are a strong plus
