Job Description:

The Specialist / Technician will be primarily responsible for Resolve Operational, maintenance and logistics issues related to IT. Maintain over 200 computers, printers, LAN's, various integrated switches / routers, Taclanes, video teleconferencing equipment (VTC), and patch panels. Manage upgrade and provide Client Administrative Support for same to include 7 unclassified / classified domain, mail, data, and application servers and peripheral IT equipment. Manage configuration and accountability of LANS and Computer/Printer/Fax/Scanner. Ensuring all assigned IT systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of IAW internal security policies outlined in the System Security Plan (SSP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and applicable DOD directives. Work with the IAM and GSSO to maintain the SSP. Ensure configuration management (CM) for security relevant IS software, hardware, and firmware is maintained and documented. Manage, control, and label all inbound / outbound media. Provide IT hardware / software installation and technical instruction / support. Provide video teleconferencing (VTC) and Controlled setup and support as requested. Document all IT related issues in the weekly status, to include all ongoing maintenance, closed jobs and delayed discrepancies. Adhere to all Security, Safety and Tool Control procedures, comply with all training.
