Specialist, Planning & Scheduling

The Planning & Scheduling Specialist position with MilliporeSigma in St. Louis, MO is an entry to mid-level position within the supply chain function. In this role, you will evaluate and make recommendations regarding material planning, perform transactions using SAP, and review manufacturing schedules and material requirements to support readiness for production. As the Planning and Scheduling Specialist, you will be part of the Supply Chaing team and collaborate with Planning, Manufacturing, Warehouse and Distribution, and Quality team members. Participation in internal project meetings will also be expected on an as-needed basis. Responsibilities include:Support maintenance of production schedule and provide input to support project deliveryWork closely with local Procurement and Quality Control to ensure material availabilityWork closely with Technical Operations and Manufacturing to understand RM/Consumable needsAssist, when necessary, in BOM/recipe creation/maintenance for productionUse SAP to analyze material stock, expiry, quality statusUse SAP to create requisitions for Procurement teamInvolvement with process improvement initiatives, as requiredSAP material conversionsAdditional duties as assigned Who You Are:Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in any discipline Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Procurement1+ years planning/supply chain management using an MRP and/or ERP systemsExperience with SAPStrong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other internal software programs)Strong analytical abilities with problem solving techniques, unconditional commitment to teamwork and communicationAbility to follow cGMP standardsAbility to work independently and adhere to deadlinesHigh sense of urgencyExtremely organized and detail orientedGood judgment and analytical skillsRSREMD
