Job Description:

L3Harris is looking for a Specialist, Program Scheduler/Planner for our Space & Sensors organization located in Mason, Ohio, preferred, or virtual. The Specialist, Program Scheduler performs schedule analysis in support of assigned programs or projects, and reports to the SLS Lead Program Scheduler and Planning Deptarment Manager. Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality. Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, and identifies/resolves critical path and network logic conflicts. Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas. Ensures compliance with internal program procedures and project control system guidelines. May lead or participate in scheduling status reviews.

Essential Functions:
  • Responsible for detailed schedule analysis of network logic and critical path.
  • Collecting monthly status of programs performance.
  • Performs "what if" scenarios for individual program management team members.
  • Performs schedule variance analysis by comparing baseline to schedule to forecast Starts/Finishes.
  • Resolves critical path and network conflicts.
  • Reviews and develops complex schedule network logic for errors and inconsistencies.
  • Ensures compliance with internal program procedures as well as PCS (Project Control Systems) guidelines and IMS DID (Integrated Master Schedule Data Item Description).
  • Ensures management's understanding of network logic, Gantt, pert, milestone lists, and resource information in the schedule.


Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree in finance or business and/or with a minimum of 6 years scheduling experience. MA/MS with 4 years of scheduling experience.
  • 6 years of MS Project experience is required. Earned Value experience is required.
  • U.S. Citizenship required. Candidate must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.


Preferred Additional Skills/Experience:
  • Intermediate use and knowledge of Microsoft Project Professional, Excel, Excel Pivot Tables, Office Time Line Pro+ and PowerPoint, and Deltek Cobra, and Empower.
  • Demonstrated experience on programs with responsibility for development and execution of the IMS, including setup, baseline management and update/maintenance, schedule analysis, critical path analysis, SRAs, managing resources in the IMS, and CDRL deliveries.
  • Knowledge and experience of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) And industry best practices.
  • Experience with schedule health metrics (e.g., DCMA 14- Point assessment; DCMA EVMS Compliance Metric (DECM) and Schedule Metric Analysis - such as BEI, CPLI, SPI, etc.
  • Able to interface and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Able to work cross-functionally with other departments.
  • Able to work within tight deadlines and multi-task various projects in an organized manner required.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving, attention to detail and quality of product deliverables.
  • Knowledge of EVMS Guidelines (EIA 748-D), Integrated Product and Process Development (IPPD), and Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR/IPMDAR) strongly desired
  • Experience with subcontractors' schedule integration
  • Experience with DCMA Earned Value (EV) Audits

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $58,00K - $108,500K. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
