Functions as a part of a large and varied healthcare team consisting of physicians, nurses, allied health personnel, and members of the community. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care to a variety of diagnostic categories and supervising rehabilitation technicians, volunteers, and students. Caseloads may consist of adult and pediatric inpatients and outpatients.

Position Requirements

Master's Degree in Speech Pathology or related field. 1 year or more of experience in speech pathology. Experience requirement may be waived if applicant successfully completed a clinical rotation with the department. Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS). Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA upon completion of the clinical fellowship year post graduation. Those with more than one year of experience will be required to possess this credential. Georgia State Licensure.
