Description: Job Summary:

Sports Medicine Fellow position is a one-year experience that offers recent Orthopedic residency graduates an opportunity to work clinically in the orthopedic department as a junior faculty member. The fellow functions as an integral part of the Sports Medicine team, and assists the program in its administrative, operational, & recruitment responsibilities.

Essential Responsibilities:

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Would remain the same as resident physician.

  • Medical degree (MD or DO).
License, Certification, Registration
  • Doctor of Medicine License (California)
  • Basic Life Support
  • National Provider Identifier
  • Drug Enforcement Administration Registration
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support
Additional Requirements:

  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Flouroscopy License
  • Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
