Spring 2025 Data Science & Analytics Internship

About the role:

As a full time Data Science and Analytics Intern at TQL, you will help identify and resolve business problems with data. You will apply analytical techniques to solve complex business questions. You will gain experience building scalable reports, visualizations, models and analytics within TQL's award-winning in-house IT department.

What you'll be doing:

• Conduct exploratory data analysis using summary statistics and time series analysis to identify trends and patterns in historical data.
• Develop and maintain data visualizations that effectively communicate insights and support data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of data used in reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to understand their data needs. Utilizing a data-driven analytic approach, develop a solution to aid in their decision making.
• Provide great customer service to all stakeholders.
  

What you need:

• Current student graduating between May 2025-May 2026
• Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools like Tableau, Qlik, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Shiny, ggplot2, Anaconda, etc.
• Coding experience (SQL, R or Python) preferred, but not required
• Pursuing a degree in Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Economics or a related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional aptitude for applied mathematical concepts like Statistics, Linear Regressions and/or Predictive and Descriptive Analytics
