The Sr. SQL Server DBA will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, support and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of county applications. Other duties include providing application support for server based applications. This is a "hands-on" position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Required Skills & Experience

* 5+ years of MS SQL Server experience required

* Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools

* Knowledge of High-Availability and Disaster Recovery options for SQL Server

* Experience working with Azure SQL Server (Data Studio, some Cloud administration, Etc)

* Ability to pass and maintain a Sheriff CLETS enhanced background check
