Summary:
Leads the Accounts Payable Department to ensure a consistent process flow from vendor creation to processing invoices, check requests, expense reimbursements, patient refunds, and other miscellaneous payment requests through payment processing and posting. Acts as a resource for the Accounts Payable Representatives. Resolves invoice discrepancies and facilitates timely reconciliation of statements. Corresponds with internal and external constituents and responds to inquiries. Ability to prioritize, organizes, and multitasks to meet deadlines and handle urgent matters. Adheres to policies, procedures, and State and Federal regulations. Acts as the administrator for all P-Card processes (company/corporate credit card program)

Formal Education Required:
a. Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Experience & Training Required:
a. Three (3) years of Accounts Payable experience.
b. Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
c. General computer literacy.
d. General clerical skills and high level of attention to detail.
e. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
f. Ability to work as a team member.

Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
a. Typing proficiency of 40-wpm with accuracy.
b. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
c. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word.
d. In-depth knowledge of concepts, best practices, and internal controls within Accounts Payable.
e. Knowledge of commonly-used concepts and practices within Purchasing, Receiving, and Accounting.
f. Strong organization, prioritization, multitasking, and problem solving skills.
g. Ability to interact professionally with both internal and external constituents to accomplish departmental goals.
h. Experience using Accounts Payable ERP software is desirable.
i. Must maintain confidentiality of patient, employee, and financial records.
j. Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.

Level of Physical Demands:
a. Sedentary: Exerts up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
