Sr Quality Test Engineer

Our client is looking for a Sr.Quality Test Engineer to provide testing and automation on medium to large sized projects of moderate to high complexity. The engineer will work in a scaled agile methodology collaborating closely with the scrum master, development engineers and product owners.

The engineer provides strategic guidance and oversight focused on functional testing and automation for a feature, project, product, or system in order to identify software problems and their causes. This position will be responsible for testing of RESTful webservices against user stories and agreed upon acceptance criteria. The candidate should have advanced experience with HTTP protocols, XML, WADL/WSDL, and schema validation as well as automation experience with Java, Cucumber, and Selenium WebDriver. Any experience with Marklogic (XQUERY) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology or relevant field required
• 5 years experience with hands on test automation (Java, C#, Cucumber, Selenium)
• 5 years experience testing webservices (REST, SOAP)
• 7 years experience in Quality Assurance of multi-tiered web applications
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and interpersonal skills (Required)
