Insight Global is looking for an AWS Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join one of our largest retail clients in the Seattle, WA area. As the Sr. Architect, you will support delivery teams in the development of detailed solution roadmaps within the Infrastructure and Cloud Services organization. You will ensure implementation aligns with design expectations through collaboration with engineers and project managers. You will act as a subject matter expert, participating in architecture design reviews, and contributing to the Architecture Community of Practice. We are looking for someone to lead the definition of project requirements, success criteria, and guide design throughout the development cycle, while proactively aligning with key stakeholders. Additional responsibilities will include providing governance and enablement in cloud-based services, leveraging deep experience with AWS, Terraform, microservices, and serverless architectures at an enterprise scale (300+ AWS accounts).

Required Skills & Experience

6+ years of experience developing, deploying, scaling and maintaining software systems
Experience supporting platforms rather than applications at an enterprise level
Deep hands-on experience using compute, networking, storage, and data components in Amazon AWS with Terraform or equivalent IaC tools. All infrastructure deployed and maintained through CI/CD pipelines.
Strong familiarity with microservices and serverless architectures, and ideally have seen them in operation at a global / enterprise scale.
Good understanding of well-architected framework and ability to promote best-practices and provide guidance to help engineers across the organization with cloud adoption.
Deep familiarity with managing accounts at scale and managing OU strategy, Landing Zone using Control Tower and extending the capability using CfCT, AFT or other similar automation.
