BSR Holdings Services, LLC, a subsidiary of NFP, is hiring a Sr. Business Analyst.

Join our dynamic and innovative portfolio company, specializing in providing comprehensive support to various non-admitted insurance companies. Our mission is to deliver cutting-edge solutions and unparalleled service to our clients, helping them navigate the complex landscape of non-admitted insurance. We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our team and drive our data initiatives forward.

The Senior Data Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to support our business objectives. This individual will leverage their technical expertise in Java, Python, and data cleaning to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Additionally, the Senior Data Analyst will be instrumental in integrating SaaS platforms and working with third-party vendors to enhance our technological capabilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

1. Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Analyze large, complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
2. Data Management and Cleaning:
  • Perform data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure data quality.
  • Implement data management best practices to maintain data integrity across various systems.
3. Technical Expertise:
  • Utilize Java and Python for data manipulation, analysis, and automation tasks.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and analysis.
4. SaaS Platform Integration:
  • Lead the integration of SaaS platforms into the company's existing infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of SaaS solutions.
  • Work with third-party vendors to manage and optimize SaaS platform usage.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
  • Partner with IT, finance, and other departments to understand and fulfill data needs.
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior data analysts.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR ABILITIES:
  • Proficiency in Java and Python for data analysis and automation.
  • Strong experience with data cleaning and management.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate SaaS platforms into a company's infrastructure.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors to implement and manage SaaS solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with the insurance industry, particularly non-admitted insurance, is a plus.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLITIES: N/A

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.

The base salary range for this position is $90,000 $125,000 . The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
