8.Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of new software solutions to improve production planning and control processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and integrate manufacturing systems with IT solutions.
- Design code and test applications using C# Angular and ASP.NET to ensure high-quality software development.
- Identify and resolve system issues optimizing performance and scalability.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers enhancing team capabilities.
- Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and advancements in production planning and control.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software development.
- Participate in code reviews contributing to the maintenance of high coding standards.
- Develop detailed documentation for the deployment and maintenance of software applications.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver solutions that meet those requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the software development process.

- Proven experience as a Sr. Developer with a strong background in Production Planning & Control in Industrial Manufacturing.
- Expertise in C# Angular and ASP.NET is required.

The annual salary for this position is between $83,200 - $106,200 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
